Floyd Edward King, 70, Route 5, died today at his home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 pm Wednesday at the Church of God, 423 N. Ross, with Rev. Ted Carr officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. King was born May 23, 1921, in Marion, Ark.; and moved to Sapulpa in 1935. He was employed for 37 years by Rogers Galvanizing Company and was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include Wife, Opal; sons Dale and Gerald King, both of Sapulpa; daughters Judy Thomas and Bett Kerr, both of Sapulpa; brothers Frank, Rou, Ernest and John King, all of Sapulpa; sisters Letha Nichols of Chickasha and Bonnie West and Maggie Haines, both of Sapulpa; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Casketbearers were Bill Taylor, Bill Downs, Larry Davidson, Edward Davidson, Bill Davidson and Thomas Smith.

Mr. King, a longtime Sapulpa resident, died Monday at his home.
