"Andrew Scott McCLURE 1770-20 Oct 1857, was the Great Grandfather of my Uncle. John Ellis McClure (twin) 29 Dec 1900-15 Nov 1974. There are 3 living children of John Ellis McCLURE living in Lebanon, Ohio, Dayton, Ohio & Roseburg, Oregon"

On 21 Aug 2005 Judy Simpson writes,
"Rebecca Long was the daughter of Patrick and Ailes Long, who lived in Sycamore Township, Hamilton County, Ohio. Rebecca married John R. McMeen December 13, 1838. According to the census, Rebecca never had any children, but her husband married again and had a son (Edwin Rush McMeen) and a daughter (Sarah M. McMeen).
