That we Sophia Turner, widow of Lewis Turner
deceased, of the Town of Scriba, County of Oswego & State of New
York as principal, and Russell Turner of the same place
and Archibald D. McIntyre of the City of Oswego County and State
of New York as sureties are held and firmly bound, unto the people
of the State of New York, in the sum of Five Hundred dollars, lawful money
of the United States of America, to be paid to the said people: To
which payment, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our and each
of our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly
by these presents.
Sealed with our Seals.Dated the sixth day of November in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety. THE CONDITION OF THE ABOVE OBLIGATION IS SUCH, That if the above bounden Sophia Turner administratix of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of Lewis Turner, late of the Town of Scriba in the County of Oswego, New York, deceased, shall faithfully discharge the trust reposed in h(blank) as such, and obey all lawful decrees and orders of the Surrogate’s Court of the County of Oswego, New York, touching the administration of the estate of said deceased committed to her, then this obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue. A true and correct inventory of all the goods, chattels and credits which were of Lewis Turner, late of the Town of Scriba in the County of Oswego and State of New York, deceased, made by: Sophie Turner sole administratrix of the goods chattels and effects of the said deceased which have come to the knowledge of the said administratrix and particularly of all monies, bank bills and other circulating medium belonging to the said deceased and of all bonds mortgages and notes and other securities for the payment of money belonging to the said deceased specifiying the name of each debtor the sum originally payable and all endorsements thereon with their dates and the sum which may be collected on each security. 1. TO THE SURROGATE’S COURT OF THE COUNTY OF OSWEGO, NEW YORK: The petition of Sophia Turner, of the Town of Scriba in the County of Oswego, New York, respectfully showeth: That your petitioner is the widow of Lewis Turner, who died intestate on or about the 24th day of September, 1890, a natural death, being at the time of his death a resident of the Town of Scriba in the said County of Oswego, New York. That the said deceased left no last Will, to the knowledge or belief of your petitioner. That he left him surviving, his widow Sophia Turner and also the following persons his only next of kin, via: Name
