WALLER, Rachel
- 91, of Georgefield, died September 23, 1995, in the Victoria
General Hospital, Halifax. Born in South Maitland, she was a
daughter of the late Joseph and Augusta (LeBlanc) Wood. She was
a resident of Georgefield for over 47 years, previously residing
in MacPhees Corner. She was the last surviving member of her
immediate family. She is survived by daughters, Vera Singer,
Shubenacadie; Vivian Waller, Truro; sons, William, George, both
of Georgefield; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband,
Hugh; daughter, Eleanor; grandson, Frank; sisters, Mary, Mable,
Elizabeth, Hilda, Hazel; brothers, Dan, Jack, Alex, Con. Funeral
service was held September 26 in Ettinger's Funeral Home,
Shubenacadie, Rev. Chris Ryan officiating. Burial was in South
Maitland Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Lung Association
or the Canadian Cancer Society.
