Pulaski County organized January 19, 1833, from Crawford
County and named for Casimir Pulaski, Polish general of the American Revolution.
The County Seat is Waynesville, Missouri.
The county is divided up into the
following townships: Tavern, Union, Liberty, Cullen, Roubidoux, Piney.
Pulaski is surrounded by the following counties: Maries , Phelps , Laclede , Camden , Texas , and Miller .

Devils Elbow, Crocker, Hancock, Big Piney, Swedeborg, Dixon, Ft Leonard Wood.
Historical Note: The Pulaski County Courthouse (Waynesville, MO 65583) burned on June 13, 1903.
