Rules of Behavior for Teacher Conduct in 1915
I      You will not marry during the term of your contract.

II     You will not keep company with men.

III    You must be home between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. 
	unless attending a school function.

IV     You may not loiter downtown in any of the ice cream stores.

V      You may not travel beyond the city limits unless you have 
	permission from the chairman of the board.

VI     You may not ride in a carriage or an automobile with any man 
	unless he is your father or your brother.

VII    You must not smoke cigarettes.

VIII   You must not dress in bright colors.

IX     You must not under any circumstances dye your hair.

X      You must wear two petticoats.

XI     Your dress must not be any shorter than two inches above the ankle.

XII    To keep the room clean you must:   scrub the floors; clean the blackboards; 
	start a fire at 7 a.m.
