JAMES G. PARKER
James G. Parker, 59, of Sumner, IL, formerly of Crawford County, IL, died at 8:58 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital, Lawrenceville, IL., of an apparent heart attack. He was born January 4, 1947 in Hammond, IN, the son of James W. Parker and Maxine Bridges Parker. He was a 1965 graduate of Robinson High School. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1966-1970 serving in Vietnam. He was an instrument electrician for Amoco, Whiting, IN. He loved baseball. He was a resident at the Sumner Care and Rehab, Sumner, IL for two years. He was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church, Flat Rock.
He married Cindy Shields December 1978 and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Alyssa Parker, Lexington, KY; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Becky and John Montgomery, Flat Rock and Terri and Greg Wampler, Flat Rock; 1 brother, Brian Parker, Palestine; his uncle and his wife, Richard and Beverly Parker, Hammond, IN, his aunt, Lois Parker, Fayetteville, NC; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2006 at the First Missionary Baptist Church, Flat Rock, IL, with Brother Gene Ellis officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville, IN on Saturday. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, January 19th. at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Flat Rock, IL and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Friday at the First Missionary Baptist Church preceding the services. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the First Missionary Baptist Church with envelopes available at the funeral home.

FRANCISCO — Cindy (Rose) Fisher, 51, passed away Saturday morning, March 11, 2006, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. Cindy was born in Evansville, Ind. on January 11, 1955, and had resided in the Princeton area most of her lifetime. Cindy was a homemaker and formerly worked with Rose & Rose Real Estate, American Real Estate, in the business office at Gibson General Hospital and as a beautician, all in Princeton. She was a graduate of Princeton Community High School, Class of 1973 and was a member of the Princeton Christian Church. Her father, Doug Rose, preceded her in death in 1998.
Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Dale Fisher, two children, Scott and Katy Fisher, both at home; mother, June Rose of Princeton; brother, James Rose of Princeton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Victor Fisher of Evansville; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Debby and Scott Baumgartner of Columbus, Ohio and Tom and Debbie Fisher of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2006, at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Allen Buzard officiating. Friends may call for visitation from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home. Burial will be at Columbia "White" Church Cemetery in Princeton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Princeton Christian Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
