RESEARCH SERVICES

Queries:  Short, concise questions about the Montrose area may be published in our quarterly journal. 
Free to members,  $2.00 to non-members.

Research:   Some members of the society will research in Montrose County records as their time allows. 

The Society charges $20.00 per hour plus costs of photocopying and postage for basic research.

Copies are 15 cents each.

A $40 deposit is required in advance for us to begin researching. 

Please supply us with as much detail as you can on what you already have and what you are looking for.  Please be specific, stating names, dates and places known.

We will contact you after 2 hours to advise you of our progress.  The charges are due and payable even if the search does not produce the particular information you seek.
