- Rutger Bruynszen was a member of the at Reformed Protestant Dutch Church, Flatbush, Kings Co., Long Island, New York, in March 1680.6,7
- On 7 April 1692, Peter Hendrickse belonging to Flatbush in Kings County, with my brothers viz., William Brimasson Brinase, Hendrickson Brist Evert Hendrickson, Rutt Brimasson, and Harman Hendrickse Brisse Walter Brimsey and Garret Hendrickse Brissa sendeth greeting...the above mentioned for severall reasons and causes us and all of us, but especially for a valuable satisfaction to us in hand payed by Garret Coertse of Flatlands, convey to Garret Coertse a certain dwelling house standing and being in the town of Flatlands with a parcell of land lying and belonging thereto, containing twenty-six acres more or less, bounded on the east and west by the said Garret Coerten, on the south of John Petersen, and on the north by Rutt Brimassen, and bounded on the west by the common road to Flatlands, & east by the undivided lands with one allotment of meadow lying in a place commonly known by the name of friegen hooks, being also bounded on the east by John Peterson and on the west by John swenayes(?) and at the south by the creek and north by the upland.
