Research

Country members are assisted with brief specific requests for information from our library holdings, or with advise on how to proceed with their research in more difficult situations.

Research for non members will be undertaken upon receipt of the  research form (or brief to the point letter) + research fee + SSAE. (Stamped self-addressed envelope).  

Research on behalf of non-members will include $25 basic fee, for the initial request and first hour of research, payable by cheque, in advance, to CQFHA. We regret we cannot undertake research requested by phone or email. Please also include a stamped self-addressed envelope.

More complex queries will be undertaken upon your acceptance of our quote, and will be charged at $25 per hour + sundry charges (photocopying etc).

To make the most of these services, please let us know exactly what you are trying to achieve, and what you already know (it is very disheartening to have to pay us for research that you already have!)
