In sacred memory of
Second Lieutenant Leamuel Artis White (USA) [O5340116] of Silverhill, Alabama; a casualty of the Vietnam War.

Artis was a proud member of the United States Army where he served as an Infantry Officer and Commander.

Lieutenant White served our country in South Vietnam with honor and dignity from December 12
th, 1967 until March 6th, 1968 when he was killed by a grenade while in combat action in Gia Dinh Province. His body was recovered. He was 22 years old and married.

Artis was born March 18, 1945 and entered the service from Silverhill, Alabama. Lieutenant White is honored on panel 43E, line 038 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. Artis served our country for one year.

























In sacred memory of
Private First Class Carl Oscar Pearson, Jr. (USMC) [2353672] of Silverhill, Alabama; a casualty of the Vietnam War.

Carl was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps where he served as an Amphibious Assault Vehicle Crewman.

Private First Class Pearson served our country in South Vietnam with honor and dignity from February 16
th, 1968 until May 8th, 1968 when he was killed by small arms fire while in combat action in Quang Nam province. His body was recovered. He was 18 years old and not married.

Carl was born June 18, 1949 and entered the service from Silverhill, Alabama. He was a graduate of Robertsdale High School Class of 1967. The photograph is his senior class picture from the class yearbook. Private First Class Pearson is honored on panel 57E, line 003 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. Carl served our country for one year.

























In sacred memory of
Sergeant Charles Frank Sturma (USA) [53842607] of Silverhill, Alabama; a casualty of the Vietnam War.

Charlie was a proud member of the United States Army where he served as an Infantry Sergeant.

Sergeant Sturma served our country in South Vietnam with honor and dignity from April 22
nd, 1968 until March 9th, 1969 when he was killed by small arms fire while in combat action in Quang Tin province. His body was recovered. Charlie is interred with honors in Silverhill Cemetery, Silverhill, Alabama. He was 24 years old and unmarried.

Charlie was born June 27, 1944 and entered the service from Silverhill, Alabama. He was a graduate of Robertsdale High School Class of 1962 where he was an outstanding student, friend, and athlete. Prior to entering the military, Sergeant Sturma attended Troy State University. The accompanying photograph of Sergeant Sturma is from South Vietnam. Sergeant Sturma is honored on panel 30W, line 097 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. Charlie served our country for one year.
