General Notes: Peterwas a farmer who owned a large amount of land along the Massachusetts-New Hampshire border. When the boundary dispute was resolved in 1741, he and his family became residents of New Hampshire, in the area later incorporated as Plaistow (Scalisi and Ryan, "Peter Pattee of Haverhill, Massachusetts" [op. cit.], 327-329). Elizabeth married Peter Patee, son of Patee and Unknown, on 13 Nov 1729 in Kingston, Rockingham, New Hampshire, USA.1 2 (Peter Patee was born about 1704 in Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts, USA 6 and died on 23 Jun 1748 in Plaistow, Rockingham, New Hampshire, USA 7.) |
