John de Lenham son of Isolda sold his purparty of Weston Manorin 1297 to William Inge who also aquired the portion of Eleanorde Kinell in 1299. William Inge obtained a grant for a weeklymarket and Annual fair in 1303. In 1308 he obtained the thirdpart (of Weston Manor) from Juliana de Weylondon.Weston part of the Manor of Hitchin was called Weston in the11th Century, Weston Tregoz early in the 14th Century and WestonInge later in the 14th Century (Westoning now).In 1321William also held 5 messages - 200 acres of land - 4acres of meadow - sixty acres of wood and 40 shillings annualrent in Rebourn.William was Chief Justice of the King's Bench in the reign ofEdward II
