General Notes: Count of Blois, Champaigne, Chartres, Count of Meaux and Tourain. A crusader under Godfrey de Bouillon, who fell, gallantly fighting against the Infidels at Rames. He was one of the seven leaders of the First Crusade. Noted events in his life were: � He worked as a Count Of Blois. Stephen married Princess Adela, daughter of King William and Queen Matilda. (Princess Adela was born in 1052 in Normandie, France and died on 8 Mar 1134-1135 in Marsilly, , Poitou-Charentes, France.) |
