Keeter, age 33, his son, Cicil J. Keeter, age 6, his daughter, Mary M. Keeter, age 3 years and 1 month.⁴ John S. Keeter died on 28 January 1938.¹ He was buried in Cool Spring Cemetery, Sec. 7, Rutherford County, North Carolina.¹
