     Richard William Yelton was born on 3 February 1861 in Butler, Pendleton County, Kentucky.^3,1 He was living in the household of Alex Yelton, age 54, in the 1870 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.⁴ Richard Yelton, age 19, was listed as a son of Vashti Yelton, age 47, in the 1880 Census of Butler, Pendleton County, Kentucky.²

Richard William Yelton married Missouri Belle Crawford, daughter of James R. Crawford and Frances Fryer, on 5 May 1896 in Pendleton County, Kentucky.^5,6 Richard W. Yelton, age 39 was listed as the brother of Leonard Yelton, age 37 in the 1900 Census of Covington Kenton County, Kentucky.³ Richard W. Yelton, age 39 was enumerated as the head of a household in the 1900 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky. Other family members included his wife, Belle Yelton, age 37, his sons, Lillian Yelton, age 3 and Willard Yelton, age 1. Belle has borne 3 children, 2 of whom are living. The census does list Rilla as Lillian, and indicates that she is a son rather than a daughter.⁵ In 1900 Richard William Yelton was a motorman on a street railroad.³ He was listed as the head of a household in the 1910 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky. The household also included his wife, Belle Yelton, age 48, his son, Willard Yelton, age 11, his daughters, Rilla Yelton, age 13, Edna Yelton, age 9 and Jewel Yelton, age 6. Belle has borne 5 children, 4 of whom are living.⁷ On 22 October 1912 Richard was struck by a train at the Demossville bridge, Pendleton County, Kentucky. He was taken to St. Elizabeth's Hospital with a fractured skull and broken right leg.^8,1 He died on 27 October 1912 in St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky.^1,8 He was buried in the Grant burial ground, Butler, Kentucky, on 28 October 1912. The death certificate states that the body was removed by the undertaker on October 28th. I suspect the actual burial did not take place until at least the 29th.^1,8

     Dora Ann Caldwell was born in September 1861 in Kentucky the daughter of A. L. Caldwell.^1,2,3

Dora Ann Caldwell married Jasper N. Yelton, son of Alexander Yelton and Vashti Williams, on 12 August 1880.^1,3 Dora Yelton, age 38 was listed as the wife of Jasper N. Yelton, age 45 in the 1900 Census of Fayette County, Kentucky.² Dora Yelton, age 48 was listed as the wife of Jasper M. Yelton, age 56 in the 1910 Census of Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee.¹ Dora Ann Caldwell died on 29 November 1911 in Knoxville, Tennessee, at age 50. She was survived by her husband, Jasper N. Yelton.³

     Hazel Britton was born circa 1896 in Kentucky.¹

Hazel Britton married George Francis Barnard, son of George Francis Barnard and Carrie Yelton, on 27 March 1918.^2,3 Hazel Barnard, age 23 was listed as the wife of George F. Barnard, age 25 in the 1920 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.¹ Hazel L. Barnard, age 32 was listed as the wife of George T. Barnard, age 36 in the 1930 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.²

     William W. Wakefield was born in March 1851 in Maine the son of Charles Wakefield and Lois Dearborn.^1,2

William W. Wakefield married Mary E. Yelton, daughter of Alexander Yelton and Vashti Williams, circa 1887.^3,1,4

William Wakefield, age 49 was enumerated as the head of a household in the 1900 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky. Also living in the house was his wife, Mary E. Wakefield, age 40. Mary has borne no children.⁴ William W. Wakefield was a broom maker.^2,5 He and Mary (Yelton) Wakefield had no children.⁶ William survived the death of his wife, Mary (Yelton) Wakefield, on 2 February 1927.⁶ William W. Wakefield died on 26 October 1929 at his home, Grassy Creek, Pendleton County, Kentucky. He was buried at Grant Cemetery, Pendleton County, Kentucky, on 27 October 1929.²

     Missouri Belle Crawford was born on 29 January 1862 in Kentucky.^2,3

Missouri Belle Crawford married Richard William Yelton, son of Alexander Yelton and Vashti Williams, on 5 May 1896 in Pendleton County, Kentucky.^3,4 Belle Yelton, age 37 was listed as the wife of Richard W. Yelton, age 39 in the 1900 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.³ Belle Yelton, age 48 was listed as the wife of Richard W. Yelton, age 49 in the 1910 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.⁵ Missouri Belle Crawford died on 25 May 1949 at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio.^2,1 She was buried at Grant's Cemetery, Pendleton County, Kentucky, on 28 May 1949.²

     Ula F. Barnard, age 10 months was listed as a daughter of George F. Barnard, age 25 in the 1920 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.¹ Eulah F. Barnard, age 11 was listed as a daughter of George T. Barnard, age 36 in the 1930 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.³

     Dorothy L. Barnard, age 8 was listed as a daughter of George T. Barnard, age 36 in the 1930 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.¹

     Robert B. Barnard, age 6 was listed as a son of George T. Barnard, age 36 in the 1930 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.¹

     Kathleen Ramsey married Chester A. Barnard.^1,2

     Ralph Edward Schlueter married Betty L. Barnard.^1,2

     William D. Yelton died on 23 April 1955 in Campbell County, Kentucky.² He was born on 23 April 1955 Kentucky.¹

     Geneveve Taylor, age 3 years and 8 months was listed as a daughter of Edward Taylor, age 25 in the 1930 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.³

     Razmus Yelton was born in April 1900 in Ohio.¹ Razmus Yelton appears in the 1900 Census of Logan County, Ohio in the household of Benjamin and Mary Fridley, his grandparents. In this census, he is enumerated as their grandson. His mother is also in the household, listed as Margaret Fridley, a single woman age 21. The census states that Mary is 48, and has borne 8 children, all of whom are living..¹ Rasmus B. Fridley, age 13 appears in the 1910 Census of Logan County, Ohio in the household of Ben and Mary Fridley, his grandparents, although he is listed as their son in this census..² Razmus registered for the World War I draft on 24 August 1918 in Bellefontaine, Ohio. When he registered for the draft, Razzie gave his date of birth as 11 Jun 1897, which is consistent with the information reported in the 1910 and 1920 Census. He apparently did not use the Yelton surname.³

Razmus Yelton married Flora Belle (?).⁴

Razzie B. Fridley, age 23 was listed as a head of household in the 1920 Census of Bellefontaine, Logan County, Ohio. Also living in the house was his wife, Flora Belle Fridley, age 19.⁴ In 1920 Razmus Yelton was a mechanic.⁴
