     Lucy Jane Yelton was born circa 1851 in Kentucky.¹ She was living in the household of Jas. G. Yelton, age 42, in the 1860 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.¹ Lucy J. Yelton, age 19 was living in the household of James G. Yelton, age 52, in the 1870 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.² Lucy J. Yelton, age 28, was listed as a daughter of James B. Yelton, age 62, in the 1880 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.³

Houston, age 2 and James A. Houston, age 1. F. reported owning real estate worth $3000 and personal property worth $1200.¹ He was enumerated as the head of a household in the 1880 Census of Bracken County, Kentucky. The family included his wife, Agnes Houston, age 40, his sons, Nick B. Houston, age 14, Albert Houston, age 11, Frank A. Houston, age 3 and Bennie Houston, age 9 months, his daughters, Emma Houston, age 13, Lillie C. Houston, age 9 and Lucy B. Houston, age 6.²

     Augustus Francis McClanahan was born on 14 June 1836 in Pendleton County, Kentucky, the son of Carr McClanahan.^1,2

Augustus Francis McClanahan married Mary Josephine Yelton, daughter of James Gosney Yelton and Ellen Fryer, on 24 January 1861. Augustus survived the death of his wife, Mary (Yelton) McClanahan, circa 1884.^3,1 Augustus Francis McClanahan died on 22 February 1922 Kentucky.¹ He was buried in the Yelton Family Cemetery near Pleasant Hill on 24 February 1922.⁴

     Lucy O. Holmes was born on 5 July 1849 in Harrison County, Kentucky, the daughter of Robert Holmes and Lucy Adams.^1,2

Lucy O. Holmes married George Wesley Yelton, son of James Gosney Yelton and Ellen Fryer, on 30 September 1873.^3,1 Lucy Yelton, age 31, was listed as the wife of George Yelton, age 33, in the 1880 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.^4,3 Lucy O. Holmes and George Wesley Yelton had no children.^5,3 Lucy (Holmes) Yelton died on 12 April 1916 in Pendleton County, Kentucky, at age 66. She was survived by her husband, George Wesley Yelton.²

     Robert P. Nolan married Lucy Jane Yelton, daughter of James Gosney Yelton and Ellen Fryer, on 23 June 1886.

     Nora Yelton was born circa 1863 in Kentucky.¹ She was living in the household of James G. Yelton, age 52, in the 1870 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.¹ Nora A. Yelton, age 17, was listed as a daughter of James B. Yelton, age 62, in the 1880 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.² Nora Yelton died before 22 September 1908.³

Yelton, age 12, was listed as a daughter of William P. Yelton, age 39, in the 1880 Census of Pendleton County, Kentucky.¹

Sarah Margaret Yelton married John A. Sharon on 28 February 1889 in Pendleton County, Kentucky.⁴ Sallie M. Sharon, age 32 was listed as the wife of John A. Sharon, age 33 in the 1900 Census of Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky.⁵ Sallie M. Sharon, age 42 was listed as the wife of John A. Sharon, age 43 in the 1910 Census of Richmond, Madison County, Kentucky.⁶

Sarah Margaret Yelton died on 12 April 1913 in Newport, Campbell County, Kentucky. Because of her husband's position as school superintendent, the public schools in Newport were closed the Monday following her death. Children from each of the eight public schools placed flowers on the bier.^2,7 She was buried in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Butler, Kentucky, on 15 April 1913.^2,7

Sharon was a college professor.¹ He was listed as the head of a household in the 1910 Census of Richmond, Madison County, Kentucky. The household also included his wife, Sallie M. Sharon, age 42, his son, Lowell Sharon, his daughters, Nellie K. Sharon, age 20 and Lena O. Sharon, age 12. Sallie has borne 5 children, 3 of whom are living.³ In 1910 John A. Sharon was a teacher at the state normal school (teachers' college). In 1913 John A. Sharon was superintendent of the Newport public schools.⁴ John survived the death of his wife, Sarah Margaret Yelton, on 12 April 1913.^5,6

John A. Sharon married Edith S. (?).⁷ John A. Sharon, age 53 was listed as the head of a household in the 1920 Census of Cleveland Heights, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. The family included his wife, Edith S. Sharon, age 43, his son, Lowell E. Sharon, age 28, his daughter, Lena O. Sharon, age 21.⁷ In 1920 John A. Sharon was a public school teacher.⁷

The family included his wife, Emma Vlanaghan, age 35, his son, Burman Vlanaghan, age 10, his daughters, Beatrice Vlanaghan, age 12 and Elanora Vlanaghan, age 5 years and 3 months.⁵ Phillip Vanlandingham, age 47 was listed as the head of a household in the 1930 Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. The household also included his wife, Emma Vanlandingham, age 54, his son, Burman S. Vanlandingham, age 21, his daughters, Beatrice Vanlandingham, age 22 and Jennie Vanlandingham, age 17. Phillip's brother-in-law, William Howard Yelton, was also living with the family, although no relationship is stated.
