1890-1908

Transcribed in 2001 by Cynthia A. Georgen

Original housed at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library

Located on the southwest side of Sheridan on a hill overlooking Big Goose valley, the original Mount Hope Cemetery was incorporated in 1890. The first burial was that of Reuben P. Collier, a forty-six-year-old farmer who died of "softening of the brain" on May 29, 1890.

The following list of names (along with detailed information on each burial) is taken from the first book of interments, dating through September 25, 1908.
