Mrs L E Andrews passed away at her home on Mason creek last Friday evening after a brief illness with Spanish Influenza. She had been nursing at different families during the epidemic and this is where she contracted the disease.
Opal Gipson was born December 4, 1892, and died November 8, 1918, at the age of 25 years, 11 months and 4 days. On December 25, 1913, she was united in marriage to Lloyd E Andrews of Mason creek and to this union was born one girl on April 19, 1916.
She leaves to mourn her untimely death the husband and daughter, a father, three sisters and two brothers, who have the sympathy of the entire community in their hour of bereavement.
The remains were laid to rest in the Adventist cemetery on Sunday afternoon.
