Hibbs Family Cemetery

 Hibbs Family Cemetery

The Hibbs Family Cemetery is located at Coburn on the Hibbs family farm.  You have to pass through my grandparent's farm (Bradley) & the farm where Delphia Lowe and her family lived to get to it.  The Hibbs farm was sold to a Nathan Villers (he m. Massie Jane Hibbs; she m. (1) Anderson, (2) Villars).  After his death, the property fell to his children & later continued through grandchildren, etc.  They eventually sold it to Coastal Lumber, who sold it again a few years ago.  The owners of the Bradley Farm have allowed Mom & Dad, etc. to have access to the property in order to reach the other areas.  My wife and I walked to the cemetery two years ago.  It is very easy to reach now, much more than it used to be.  There has been gas well drilling in that area & a road goes past the cemetery.  You can drive, using a four wheel drive, to within a few yards of it.  SOURCE: Randy Price
