Directions:
According to Stanley Anderson's "Cemeteries of Northern Webster
County": This is the largest cemetery in Northern Webster County.
It is located on the Replete Road on the hill above the Chestnut Grove
United Methodist Church. The cemetery road is good and is passible
most of the year by two-wheel vehicles. A trust fund has been established
for the cemetery assuring perpetual care. There is a new cyclone
fence around the area. The cemetery is well maintained and is in
excellent condition. The land containing this cemetery has been in
the Jordan family for around 150 years. A few years ago the land
was deeded by
Elba and Mary Robinson to the trustees of the cemetery.
A large oak tree stands in the southeast corner. According to Wade
K. Jordan this is an original landmark corner. He requested that
it never be cut.
