News Coming Soon: There were some problems publishing the last issue of The Independent. We apologize to our members for not getting last year's issue out. To make up for it we are planning to release a calendar featuring historic photographs relating to Webster County. The calender is planned to run from July 2001-December 2002, and will be free to all members of the Historical Society. We hope to get back on track and be able to publish an issue of The Independent for this year, and we've got some exciting ideas relating to online publishing and utilizing the exisiting mailing lists for Webster County.
