Looking for information on John Milton Picklesimer. He was my great Grandfather and was living in Wayne County from late fall of 1879 up till about 1884. While there he was pastor of the "Old Mount Olive Baptist Church" at Wayne. Sometime during this stay he lost his wife and two of his three children. I would like to know what caused their death and when. They were listed in the 1880 US Census of Wayne County. My grandfather was the eldest of the three children. Any help greatly appreciated.

My family owns land called BALL RIDGE in Wayne County West Virgina it is off a road called Joels Branch. The land has been in the Ball Family since the early 1800. I am trying to find some information on the ZIHLMANN family that came to the US from switzerland in the late 1800's. The two individuals are Anton, Joseph, Nicholas and Johann. These gentlemen worked in the Glass factories as they were glass blowers. Possibly some of these came from the Belairs glass works. Anton later moved to Cumblerand, MD and started his own glass works selling this in 1900 and buying another in Huntington, WV. Its name was the Tumbler Glass Factory. These men expanded their field to North Baltimore, OH. I have been doing some work on this family but have not been able to get to the basis of their arrival.

Eli Patterson married Berth Mae? They had the following children; Flora Belle Patterson, Nancy Patterson, Mildred Patterson, Blanche Patterson, another daughters whose name I don't even know, and a son Earl Hendrix Patterson (grandpa) born April 9, 1915. Grandpa Earl Hendrix Patterson married Katherine Georgie Ward b. 10/7/1919. My parents are also from Wayne Co. their names are James Calloway Maynard born January 19, 1911 and Nellie Lovins born October 1, 1923. My family is a little harder to get info on as alot of them were born at home instead of a hospital. However, I would really like to trace my roots if possible.
