Bernardine VanGilder

Bernardine Emma "Dene" VanGilder, 84, a resident of Elkins, and a resident of Colonial Place for the past several years, passed away Friday, Feb. 20, 2009, in Davis Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 11, 1924, at Helvetia, a daughter of the late Oscar and Minnie Betler Malcomb.

She was formerly married to Paul VanGilder, who is deceased.

Surviving are one brother, Oscar R. Malcomb and wife, Joann, of Valley Bend; two sisters, Carol Hill of Streetsboro, Ohio, and Joan Estep and husband, Bob, of Upland, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Louise Malcomb of Helvetia; two grandsons, Scott and Jimmy VanGilder; and several nieces and nephews.

Also preceding her in death were one son, Lawrence VanGilder; one brother, Luther Malcomb; and two sisters, Virginia Zumbach and her husband, Rudolph, and Mae Gillispie and her husband, Bud.

"Dene" made many friends over the years volunteering at Colonial Place and Good Shepherd. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Elkins and was a homemaker.

At the request of the deceased, her remains were cremated. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

James E. Frank

James Earl Frank, 70, of Route 3, Buckhannon, died at his home Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, under the care of St. Joseph's Hospice.

He was born April 22, 1938, at Baltimore, Md., a son of the late Walter and Ruby Lee Frank.

He was united in marriage on Aug. 26, 1963, to Eleanor Dietz Frank, who survives.

He is also survived by four daughters, Debbie Wallace of Baltimore, Md., Cathy Frank of Buckhannon, Patty Fulmer of Hagerstown, Md., and Joann Krempel of Buckhannon; 10 grandchildren, Vanessa Williams, Lisa Minter, Nicole Wallace, Ashley Frank, Ron Fulmer, Christopher Fulmer, Trevor Fulmer, Brandon Russell, Nicki Russell and Britney Krempel; one great-grandson, Caden Minter; and four sisters, Lillian Caroll, Irene Woodward, Ethel Zalinski and Catherine Pedan.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

Mary L. Gaffrey

James Earl Frank, 70, of Route 3, Buckhannon, died at his home Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, under the care of St. Joseph's Hospice.

Mary Phillis Ruddle Murphy, 92, of Franklin, departed this life on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, in Pendleton Manor in Franklin.

A funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. today at Franklin Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Kevin Hand presiding. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.

Sylvia K. Haden

Sylvia Kathleen Shahan "Kathy" Haden, 75, a resident of Mill Creek, departed this life early Saturday morning, Feb. 21, 2009, at her home.

She was born Monday, Sept. 18, 1933, at Belington, a daughter of the late Russell "Peg" Shahan and Elva Shaffer Shahan.

She was married to William D. Haden, who preceded her in death on March 22, 1999.

Surviving are two sons, Ricky L. Haden Sr. and wife, Juanita, and Marvin C. Haden, all of Mill Creek; two daughters, Wanda L. Snelson and husband, John, of Ohio, and Pat Davis Phillips and husband, Doug, of Mabie; 18 grandchildren, Chris, Sonya, Billy Jr., Marlene, C.J., J.W., Jerry, Amanda, Susan, Kathy Lynn, Billy Ray, Jamie, Samantha, Sarah, Amanda, Rick Jr., Brittany and Holly; several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by two sons, Gerald "Jerry" Haden and William Boyd Haden; two infant daughters, Nancy Ellen Moore and Carolyn Sue Moore; one brother, Darius L. Shahan; and three sisters, Elyonda Sheets, Lorraine Yokum and Geraldine Victor.

She attended the schools of Barbour County, had worked for Nella's Nursing Home, Beta Shoe Co. and was a homemaker. She enjoyed watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today. Final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 12:30 p.m. The Rev. Randy Long will officiate and interment will follow in the Brick Church Cemetery. Bert F. Carothers

Bert Franklin Carothers, 94, a resident of Apple Creek Estates and more recently a resident of Colonial Place, Elkins, left this earthly life Saturday afternoon, Feb. 21, 2009, in Colonial Place. He had been in declining health although death was unexpected.

He was born Sunday, Jan. 17, 1915, at Beaver Falls, Pa., a son of the late Bert Franklin Carothers Sr. and Lydia Fern Kelly Carothers.

Bert was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School, Geneva College and the University of Pennsylvania. He served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

He was married to the former Doris Jane King, who preceded him in death on June 5, 2004.

Also preceding him in death were two sons, Lynn and Michael Carothers; and one sister, Edythe Fern Carothers Blair.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathleen Leo and husband, Marshall, of Elkins and Susan Dewey and husband, Steve, of Lapeer, Mich.; one daughter-in-law, Bette Morley of Milihani, Hawaii; five grandchildren, Matthew Carothers of Milihani, Hawaii, Joel and Clare Dewey of Michigan, and Chris and Alyson Leo of Elkins.

He had worked for Armco Steel Corp, now known as AK Steel, for more than 30 years, retiring in 1972. He then moved to Drummond Island, Mich., where he loved to play golf, fish in Lake Huron, ride his motorcycle, play bridge and read books. After moving to Elkins in 1996, he was an active member of the Elkins Lodge 1135, BPOE, where he was an avid golfer and one of the oldest to play the course. He also took great pleasure in playing bridge with his friends and continued to read mysteries. His ready wit, keen intelligence, endearing charm and sage advice will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Carothers' request for cremation was honored. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Donald Moore

Donald Moore, 62, a resident of Huttonsville, departed this life Saturday evening, Feb. 21, 2009, at his home on Becky's Creek.

He was born Saturday, Aug. 31, 1946, at Oneida, Ky., a son of the late Ella Vedus Moore and Wilma Boggs Moore Wilson, who survives at Huttonsville.

On Feb. 5, 1992, at Huttonsville, he was married to Suzi Moore, who survives at Huttonsville.

Also surviving are three sons, Joshua Moore of Nashville, Tenn., Jes Moore of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jai Moore of Abington, Va.; two stepdaughters, Rebecca Robinette of Tallahassee, Fla., and Kati Everett of Hunterville, N.C.; one brother, Dennis "Chuck" Moore of Louisville, Ky.; and 10 grandchildren.

Mr. Moore was the president of Becky's Creek Antique Woods and had been in the contracting business for several years. He also owned and operated the Becky's Creek Cabins Vacation Rentals at Huttonsville. He was a graduate of North Hardin High School at Vine Grove, Ky., where he was an outstanding athlete participating in football, basketball, baseball and wrestling. He later graduated from Eastern Kentucky University where he played football. Upon graduation, he was commissioned in the U.S. Army Reserve and attained the rank of major. He spent much of his career working in the human resources profession in the states of Florida, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Elkins. Mr. Moore was known throughout the community as a caring and giving person.

Mr. Moore's request for cremation was honored. Harry E. Lewis

Harry Eugene Lewis, 63, a resident of Beverly, passed away at 9:25 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, at his home. His death was attributed to complications of Lewy Body Dementia.

He was born Sunday, April 22, 1945, at Beverly, a son of the late George Arnold "Punk" Lewis and Juanita Esta Mae Lewis.

On June 6, 1987 at Elkins, he was married to the former Susan Ann McRae, who survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Carla Renee Taylor of Mill Creek; four brothers, Arnold Ray Lewis and wife, Shirley, of Okeechobee, Fla., Glen Earle Lewis and wife, Agnes, of Princeton, Ky., Paul Edward Lewis and wife, Sandy, of Morgantown and Alfred Joe "Samp" Lewis and wife, Brenda, of Beverly; and three sisters, Lillian Lea Dewitt and husband, Bob, of Beverly, Donna Francis Brant and Linda Darlene McCollam and husband, Bill, all of Elkins. One sister-in-law, Betty Lewis of Beverly; two grandchildren, Zach and Courtney Taylor; several nieces and nephews; and one special friend, Brian Jeffers and wife, Susan, of Medina, Ohio, also survive.

Harry was cared for in his home initially by Tippi Keene, then Agnes Wegman and her granddaughters, Larissa and Hannah Wegman and Jaylan Weese.

Preceding him in death were three brothers, Charles J. Lewis, Luther Guy Lewis and Allen Dent Lewis; two nieces, Glenda Peters and Lea Donann Stalnaker; one nephew, Charles Joe Lewis; and a great-nephew, Brian Glen Joseph Nowak.

Mr. Lewis attended Beverly High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Navy as a petty officer 3rd class and a boatswain mate. He worked in construction and was retired from the Laborer's Local 984 of Clarksburg. He was a member of Tygart Valley Post 3647 Veterans of Foreign Wars of Elkins where he served with the honor guard and as the first Vietnam Era Commander in 1972. He was a member of H.W. Daniels Post 29 American Legion. He volunteered with Mountain Hospice and attended the Tygart Valley Baptist Church.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jean B. Frank

Jean Bowers Frank, 90, of Mt. Lebanon, Pa., died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009.

She was the wife of the late Laurence J. Frank Jr.; mother of the late Allen J. Frank; daughter of the late Elmer and Rissa (Heatherly) Bowers; and sister of the late Jo-Ellen Cutshall and Hubert Bowers.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, Jo-Ellen Jackson of Gross Pointe Park, Mich., Peggy Buffaloe of Wendell, N.C., Walt Cutshall of Bedford, N.H., and Patty Jones of Louisburg, N.C.

Jean was a graduate of Gunston Hall and Davis & Elkins College. She worked for the FBI where she met her husband who was a special agent.

Jean was a longtime member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where she was a member of the Lydia Circle and a member of the Southern Club of Pittsburgh. The Kumbrabow State Forest just south of Elkins was named after her father.

A memorial service will be conducted at St. Paul's at a later date. Georgeanna Sutherland

Georgeanna M. "Jodi" Sutherland, 58, of Bonneauville, Pa., passed peacefully, Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, at home.

She was the loving wife of Kenneth "Kenny" Sutherland for 36 years.

Born Oct. 7, 1950, she was a daughter of Mary Elizabeth (Petry) Darr of Bonneauville.

Jodi was employed with Carroll Primary Care in Eldersburg and Westminster, Md., for more than 20 years. She enjoyed gardening and going to the beach with her family. She was a loving wife and mother and especially enjoyed her time spent as "Grandma" with the love of her life, grandson Noah. Jodi was a very giving person, loved her family and was always there for her family and friends when they needed her most.

Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are a daughter, Jessica Nicole Shegogue and her husband, Kevin, of Harpers Ferry; a sister, Elizabeth Ann Burdette of Keymar, Md.; a brother, James "Bo" Darr and his wife, Donna, of New Windsor, Md.; a grandson, Noah Shegogue; two nieces, Kimberly K. Conrad of Fayetteville and Brenda L. Burdette of Keymar, Md.; a nephew, Michael Darr of New Windsor, Md; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Arnold and Connie Sutherland, Robert and Carolyn Sutherland, Shirley and Daniel Rhodes, Marsha and Kelmer Lanham and William Zirkle; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of West Virginia.

Arlene E. Ferguson

Arlene Elizabeth Hogue Ferguson, 87, a resident of Route 2, Elkins, the Crystal Springs community, passed away at 10:10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, in Davis Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 17, 1921, at Mill Creek, a daughter of the late Walter Henry Hogue and Hattie E. Wagner Hogue.

On April 13, 1938, at Oakland, Md., she was married to Hoy Adam Ferguson, who preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 1973.

Surviving are two sons, Walter Larry Ferguson and Hoy Lynn Ferguson and wife, Laura, all of Elkins; and one daughter, Karen Margaret Stalnaker and husband, Fonso O. Stalnaker, of Fairmont. One sister, Gloria Jean Turk of Fort Worth, Texas; six grandchildren, William Hoy "Bill" Stalnaker and wife, Cathy, and Todd Overton Stalnaker and wife, Cheryl, all of Fairmont, Rebecca Phillips and husband, Carl, and David Ferguson and wife, Nicole, all of Inwood, Hoy Adam Ferguson and wife, Teresa, and Eric Ferguson, all of Elkins; 12 great-grandchildren, Karrington Stalnaker, Caitlin Sigler, Jennolyn Carswell, Quinlin, Tylan, Kerolyn and Kylan Andrew Phillips, Travis, Kelsey, and Jessica, Madaline and Kyla Makinsay Ferguson; and one stepgrandson, Chris Simpson, also survive.

Preceding her in death was one sister, Rella Mae Hogue.

Mrs. Ferguson was employed as a clerk with G.C. Murphy Co. of Elkins until her retirement. She was a member of the Crystal Springs Sewing Circle since 1938. She was a member of Delphia Rebekah Lodge No. 62 of Elkins, Clarksburg Star 104, Ladies Encampment Auxiliary and Auxiliary No. 9 L.A.P.M. of Clarksburg. She was a member of the John Hart Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a founding member and the oldest living member of the Crystal Springs Community Church since 1940 and a member of the Crystal Springs Church Circle.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, March 1, at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. Delphia Rebekah Lodge No. 62 will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. Sunday from the funeral home chapel. A funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor David Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman. Charles E. Moore

Charles Elwood Moore, 78, a resident of Parsons, departed this life Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, at his home. He had been in declining health.

He was born Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1930, at Russellville, a son of the late Delbert Moore and Ethel Nina Jones Moore.

On Sept. 30, 1954, at Geneva, N.Y., he was married to the former Betty Joyce Collins, who survives. They had celebrated 54 years of marriage.

Also surviving are three sons, Charles David Moore and wife, Susan, of Thomas, Delbert Michael Moore of Hendricks and Daniel Allen Moore and Allician of Elkins; five daughters, Debra Kay Dix of Grant Town, Pamela Faye Carr of Michigan, Becky Lynn McGinnis and husband, Harry, of Rivesville, Kimberly Sue Persutti and husband, Sam, of Shinnston and Donna Michelle Martin and husband, Mark, of New York; three brothers, Wilbur Moore, Gordon Moore and Benny Moore, all of Summersville; two sisters, Elizabeth Castillo and Ella Mae Miller, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; and 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several stepgrandchildren.

Preceding him in death were one brother, William Moore; and one sister, Helen Sims.

He attended the schools of Fayette County, where he was a member of the football squad. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a coal miner and a welder. He was a former police officer at Davis. He, along with his wife, owned and operated the T & M Market of Parsons for several years. He was very active with his children in all sports activities. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to fish, hunt and camp.

Donald Watson Sr., 70, a resident of the East Dailey community, departed this life at 7:41 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, at his residence. He had been in failing health.

He was born March 13, 1938, at Rich Mountain near Beverly, a son of the late Harry Russell and Anna Lawrence Oxley Watson.

Surviving are two daughters, one son, one sister, two brothers, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, four sisters and five brothers.

Charles Ketterman

Charles A. "Pete" Ketterman Sr., 77, a resident of Parsons, departed this life Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 25, 2009, at his home, with his family at his bedside. Death was attributed to cancer.

He was born Sunday, June 26, 1931, at Dry Fork, a son of the late Charles A. Ketterman and Annie O'Dell White Ketterman.

On April 18, 1949, at Oakland, Md., he was married to the former Mary Anna Gilmore, who preceded him in death April 9, 2001.

Surviving are two sons, Charles A. "Butch" Ketterman Jr. and wife, Nancy, of Hendricks and Tracy John "TJ" Ketterman and wife, Billie, of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; one sister, Bernice G. Hymes of Parsons; and six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, W.P. "Buck" Ketterman: and three sisters Mary Edith McCrum, Betty Jo Carr and Hallie L. Sturms.

He was a graduate of Parsons High School with the class of 1949. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a former employee of the West Virginia Division of Highways as a highway equipment superintendent, retiring in 1987. He was a member of The Pythagoras Lodge 128 A.F. & A.M. of Parsons. He was a member of the American Legion at Romney and the Veterans of Foreign War at Rowlesburg.

Franklin Rippee

Franklin Marion Rippee, 52, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009, at his home in Gainesville, Fla.

He was born Oct. 3, 1956.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Rippee of Minnetonka, Minn.; his sons, Eric Rippee of Boonsboro, Md., and Joseph Rippee of Hagerstown, Md.; his mother, Mary Rippee of Tampa, Fla; his sister, Alisa Flynn of Tampa, Fla; his lifelong friend, Milton Dekle of Arden, N.C.; and his loyal, loving canine companion, Pepper.

Frank was an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneer fan and had a passion for fishing. He will be greatly missed.

Cremation took place at Williams-Thomas Funeral Home at 404 N. Main St., Gainesville, Fla. on Feb. 24, 2009.

Linda S. Canfield

Linda S. Canfield, 61, of Buckhannon, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, at her home.

She was born Feb. 12, 1947, at Buckhannon, the daughter of the late Howard and Tina Smith Teter.

On Aug. 28, 1965, she married Roy "Ed" Canfield, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, David Canfield and wife, Sue Ann, of Levittown, Pa., and Allen Canfield and wife, Holly, of Buckhannon; two grandchildren; and three brothers, Bill Teter and wife, Lou, Tom Teter and wife, Judy, and Jerry Teter and wife, Teresa, all of Buckhannon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Teter.

After living 11 years in northern Virginia, Linda returned to Upshur County and purchased another horse which she rode on many trail rides with the Upshur Trail Riders as well as riding in the Strawberry Festival parade. She worked in the oil and gas industry having worked for Petro Lewis, S.W. Jack, J & J Industries, Equitable Resources and Intervest. She held several positions from production clerk to office manager.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Reger Chapel United Methodist Church on Brushy Fork Road with Dr. Arthur Holmes and the Rev. Richard Ogden officiating. Ruth Gordon, 93, a resident of Route 1, Beverly, passed away Wednesday morning, Feb. 25, 2009, in the Hospice Care Inpatient Center at Elkins.

She was born on her family's farm at Dailey on March 6, 1915, where she lived for the rest of her life. She was the daughter of the late Albert B. and Harriet Pritt Gordon.

She had never married.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Also preceding her in death were one sister, two half sisters, two brothers and one half brother.

She was a retired dairy farmer and a Christian by faith.

Dorothy Lee Scott, 80, of Thomas, died Friday, Feb. 27, at the Garrett County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 9, 1929, in Kempton, Md., a daughter of the late Elmer Gay Plum and Nellie Mae Nestor Plum.

Her husband, Samuel Edward Scott, preceded her in death in 1990.

She is survived by four sons, Edward (and Becky) Scott of Wheeling, Steve (and Linda) Scott of Hambleton, Dave (and Patti) Scott of Davis and Randy (and Donna) Scott of Moundsville: one daughter, Nell Ann Scott of Thomas; four brothers, Walt Plum of Tunnelton, Jack Plum of Hambleton, Elmer Plum of St. George and John Plum of Elkins; two sisters, Elma Jean Poaloane of Ohio and Barbara Teets of Virginia; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dave and Robert Plum; and one sister, Helen Ours.

Dorothy retired from the Davis Center where she had been employed as a cook. She was a member of OES Walter Chapter No. 73 and she enjoyed bowling, sewing and cooking. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Eric L. Swenor

On Feb. 13, 2009, our beautiful 8-month-old son, Eric Logan "EJ" Swenor, passed away at home with his parents, after a brief illness.

Born June 3, 2008, at Virginia Beach, Va., he was very strong and fought very hard but Jesus decided he needed another angel.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marcia Swenor.

He is survived by his parents, Eric and Karyn Swenor of Virginia Beach, Va.; his brothers, Alex, Michael and Brennen Swenor of Carlsbad, Calif., and Chance and Stormy Sell, at home; his maternal grandparents, Gary and M. Ruth Daniels of Philippi; his paternal grandfather, Russell "Buck" Swenor of Marquette, Mich.; and his aunts and uncles, Mark and Kristin Swenor of Ispeming, Mich., Valerie Swenor of Marquette, Mich., Vincent Swenor of Ispeming, Mich., Stephanie Isip of Marquette, Mich., and Timothy and Angela Lewis of Beverly. He had several cousins including his special cousin, Dustyn Primavero.

He was a shining star and the light of our lives. We cherish the time he was here with us on earth and we will never forget how he touched everyone that he met. We thank everyone who supported us through this time and everyone who fought to save him.

Josephine Murphy

Josehine L. Phares "Jo" Murphy, 89, a native of Randolph County and a resident of Ocala, Fla., since 1987, was called to be with our Lord, Thursday morning, Feb. 26, 2009, at her home.

She was born Friday, Aug. 22, 1919, at Elkins, a daughter of the late Frank C. Phares and Mittie Gear Phares.

On Oct. 3, 1937, at Oakland, Md. she was married to Roscoe E. "Rock" Murphy, who survives at Ocala, Fla. They had celebrated over 70 years of marriage.

Also surviving are one son, Bill Lee Murphy and wife Jan, of Navarre, Fla; one grandson, Brock Grady Murphy of Birmingham, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death is one sister, Kathleen.

Josephine was a graduate of Tygarts Valley High School with the class of 1937 and attended West Virginia Business College at Clarksburg. She had worked for Goodyear Aircraft at Akron, Ohio, the Moore Electric Co. for six years and was the office manager for the W.T. Grant Co. for 20 years. She was a former member of the Elkins Lioness Club and the First Baptist Church of Elkins and was currently a member of the First Baptist Church at Ocala, Fla. She was known as a loving and giving person, dedicated worker, wife and homemaker and all-around beautiful person. She will be dearly missed.

Mary Jane Hosey, 55, a resident of 218 Ward Road, the Valley View Apartments, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, in the Davis Memorial Hospital at 4 p.m.

She was born May 25, 1954, in Elkins, the daughter of the late Thurman Watson and Dessie Effie Fansler Watson, who survives in Junior.

She was united in marriage to Lawrence Hosey, who is currently a resident of Nella's Nursing Home.

In addition to her mother she is survived by two sons, David L. Hosey of Maryland and Kenny Watson of Hancock, Md.; five sisters; four brothers; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were three brothers.

Mary was a homemaker and a Pentecostal by faith.

Friends will be received at the Runner Funeral Home on Monday, March 2, from noon until 2 p.m., the funeral hour.
