The United Brethern Ladies Sunday School Class (possibly ca 1900)
Annie Harriet Hasenbulher was the wife of John Hassenbuhler and lived in Berkeley Springs.
On the back of the picture taken apparently with the minister, Annie Harriet Hasenbuhler wrote to her son: "Hello, Tuck, here is one of the cards of my Sunday School class.  This is only part of them as we could not get them all together.  There is about 20 more belongs to it.  Well, I would have sent you out [sic] of Papa's class a large card but he only got one of them, but Papa and I are going to get our photo taken together before long, then I will send you one of them.  I got your letter today was glad to hear from you to hear that you was well which we are the same.  I got a letter from Will the other day, just answered it today.  Hoit Spealman was down at Washington the other Sunday and saw him and Jack talked to them.  He said Will looked fine in his uniform.  Well Tuck I am afraid of.... She believes Will was William Jacob (Will) Hasenbuhler,  born August 28, 1886 and died March 3, 1920.
son of Annie Harriet and John Hasenbuhler's son and who served during  WWI.
