SUSAN A TINSLEY

1826-1909

In the Name of God Amen: I, Susan S. Tinsley of Kanawha County W. VA., being of sound mind and disposing memory, do hereby make and constitute this to be my last will and testament.

After the payment of my funeral expenses and all other lawful debts I give and

bequeath to my daughter Susan P. Tinsley my grandaughter, Mary May Tinsley, &

my stepdaughter, Elzabeth Tinsley to share and share alike, all my property

consisting of Household & Kitchen furniture, Farming Untensils, Hogs and Sheep

and all other property of which I shall dispose.

And I do hereby make, consitute and appoint James M. Tinsley to be executor of

this my Last Will and Testament.

Signed sealed by the testator in the presence of Isreal Fogart and R. H.

Bailey. They at the same time being in the presence of each other this 7th day

of December, 1898.

State of West Virginia, County of Kanawha, to-wit;

I, W. S. Mottesheard a Notary Public in and for the county and state aforesaid

to certify that Susan S. Tinsley whose name is signed to the foregoing writing

bearing date the 7th day of December, 1898, has this day acknowledged the same

before me in my said County. Given under my hand this 7th day of December 1898.

At a Special Session of the County Court of Kanawha County, continued and held

for said County at the Court House thereof on Saturday the 16th day of January

A. D. 1909.

A paper writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Susan S.

Tinsley deceased late of said County was this day presented to the Court for

probate and the same having been duly proven by the oaths of Israel Fogart and

R. H. Bailey attestin g witnesses thereto the same is duly probated and orderd

to be recorded and filed as, and for the last Will and Testament of decedent.

And James A. Tinsley having been nominated in said Will as Executor of same

said nomination is hereby confirmed by the court.

Thereupon the said James A. Tinsley together with Israel Fogart his surety

entered into and acknowledged a Bond in penalty of $100.00 conditioned

according to law and took the oath recquired by law. On motion of said Executor

Israel Fogart, Wm. Figga tt and R. H. Bailey were duly appointed as praisers to

appraise the personal estate of said decedent after first being duly sworn

according to law and make report according to law.
