WILL OF JOHN MILLER

State of Virginia Kanawha County viz

To all to whom these presents may come greeting know ye that I John Miller of the County and state above mentioned now in my right reason and considerations and in a natural state of mind do assign convey and confirm unto my dearly beloved wife the balance of a certain tract of land containing eight hundred and eight eight acres to which I have conveyed a part of said tract or lands unto Andrew Koontz, laid off and surveyed for said Koontz, and also a certain lot containing one half acre lying joining Georges Grogains lot in Charleston the County seat of Kanawha County and also all of the household property and all the estate belonging to me either presents or not this is to certify that I John Miller of the County and state aforesaid do assign convey and confirm unto my wife Elizabeth all of my estate after all just claims and funeral expenses are paid signed by me in presents of these witnesses this 8th day of September AD 1835.

At a court held for Kanawha County at the Court house thereof on Monday the ninth day of May 1835.

This last will and testament of John Miller deceased was this day presented in court proven by the oaths of Henry Figgate and Samuel B Mottesheard subscribing wittnesses thereto and admitted to record.
