Henry G. HINTON was born July 3, 1850 in Jefferson County, West Virginia, the son of James and Ellen (Hawkins) Hinton, who settled in Berkeley County July 3, 1871. Henry G. moved to Berkeley County a few months earlier and settled in the Arden district,
where he was a farmer with a Darkesville, Berkeley County, post office address.
