who were residents of Berkeley County in 1884, Mary E. was born March 1840 in Jefferson County, and died August 2, 1878, just days after delivering a daughter, Mary S. Cunningham.
The child was born July 28, 1878 and died 13 days later, on September 10, 1878.
Robert H. Cunningham was a miller by trade, living at Darkesville, Arden District, Berkeley County, West Virginia.

Robert H. CUNNINGHAM, the son of Levi and Alsa (Hayslett) Cunningham, was born in Berkeley County, West Virginia, on October 24, 1825.
Levi Cunningham was born in November 1781 and died in November 1864, and Alsa Hayslett came to the United States in 1792, settling in Berkeley County; she died January 29, 1875.
