Philip S. CUNNINGHAM was born in Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia in 1847 to John F. and Mary (Walker) Cunningham. In 1877 he married Mary McCaleb,
who was born in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, in 1848 and was the daughter of Jacob and Keziah (Cisna) McCaleb of that county.
