Jacob S. Barnes, April 17, 1870-?; and Florence C. Barnes, August 21, 1871-?. Margaret Barnes died March 26, 1872.
George T. Barnes married a second time (not named) and was a farmer in Falling Waters, Berkeley County, West Virginia. He also served as school trustee.

George T. BARNES, the son of Ishmael and Maria A. (Crown) Barnes, was born in Berkeley County, West Virginia, on April 22, 1829. His father was a soldier in the 1812 war and died April 5, 1849; his mother died May 14, 1873.
