FARES AND BOOKINGS

We have so far been able to maintain the same price as last year for these coach trips. However, because of the rising costs of fuel and of the coach hire, you will be advised of the cost when you contact the Trips Organiser (see the top of this page). We would appreciate as much notice for bookings as is feasible, so that we can ensure we have sufficient numbers to book the coach.

We very much regret we cannot accept bookings for disabled passengers if they are unaccompanied by a helper. Please ask the Trips Organiser for further information if this affects you.

IDENTIFICATION

Many of the most widely used documents in TNA can be viewed on microfilm or computer screens. You will only need a Reader’s Ticket if you wish to order and view original documents. If you do not have a current TNA Reader's Ticket, you will need to take two forms of identity with you, to prove both your name and address. The page on the TNA website referring to Reader's Tickets gives a list of what are acceptable documents.

FIRST-TIME VISITORS

If this will be your first visit to Kew, TNA holds 'New to Kew' sessions daily at 11:30 to introduce first-time visitors to the range of services available - there's no need to book and the sessions are free of charge. We also suggest you read their page on Before you visit, because it also gives advice on what to bring with you and how to handle documents. If you have any queries that haven't been answered by the advice page, please contact the Trips Organiser.
