We regret that we cannot accept overseas currencies in any form, so all payments must be made in £s (pounds sterling). We can accept payments in the form of English notes and coin, by a cheque or draft drawn in sterling on a British Bank, or by a payment in sterling made using a credit card as detailed below. English Coins

Please note that an International Money Order is no longer the best and most convenient way to send payments from overseas. The United States Postal Service, for example, now sells International Money Orders which are only available for a small number of mostly third world countries.

2. The Genealogical Society of Victoria also offers a Sterling Cheque Service, charging an administration fee of AUS$9 to members and AUS$12 to non-members.

Having decided to join us, or to buy something from us, you will want to know what the equivalent cost is in your own currency.

To make this as easy as possible for you, here's a handy ready-reckoner, the Universal Currency Converter provided by XE.com. Our Society has no connection or special arrangements with that company (nor do we endorse any of the products and services advertised on their banners) - we are merely taking advantage of their facilities for your benefit.

And don't forget, you must send us the amount in £s (UK Pounds), NOT in overseas currency.
