Message:	Received an email from the \"Setzer Reunion\" and received this site. I have just retired and hope to get settled and in earnest start more on my family tree on my mother\'s side. (Theodore Setzer born 1880 in Stevens Point, WI., son of Aberham Lues Setzer born Jan. 1847 in Schenectady, NY and married to Anne Thompson.) Theodore married Emma Bethke March 1905 and had Alfred, Evelyn, Fern (my mother), Margaret and Lyle. All deceased now except for Margaret. As for a homepage, hope to get that started sometime soon also. So much to do and so little time.

Message:	I just wanted to say Thank You!! Last year my father died suddenly and my whole family still aches from losing him. His name was William Edgar \"Bill\" Setzer, Jr. and from what I can tell, his great grandfather Matthew Coleman Setzer, Jr. and your great grandfather Robert Nelson Setzer were brothers. We used to live in Burke County, and Daddy (and all of us) always loved the mountains. Anyway, he had started researching our family before he died and unfortunately, wasn\'t able to find this site in time, but thankfully, I have!!!! My brother, his only son and the last Setzer of our particular family recently had a son of his own this year to carry on the Setzer name for us. I can\'t wait to share your information with him. I am sorry we missed the wonderful reunion and celebration earlier this year, but I can\'t wait for another one so we can connect with all of our distant family in some way. I know this is long, but I had to thank you for all the obvious long hours and hard work you\'ve put into this site. Comments:	William Killian is my greatgrandfather. Lydia Meek is my greatgrandmother. William is the son of Samuel Killian and Lucinda Hill. Lydia was born in AR but can be found in the Milam County, TX 1850 census at one year old. William and Lydia married in 1868. They can be found in the 1880 census of Montague County, TX with three children, Ansebel, Nellie and Susie. Nellie died in childbirth. Her son is Preston White. I have a 1900 picture of William, Lydia, Susie, Rachel (b. 1885)and Langston (b. 1893). William's brother H. L. Killian died in 1886 at Spanish Fort, Montague County, TX.
