Annual membership begins November 1 with Individual Memberships $10.00 and Family Memberships $13.00. Membership includes the quarterly newsletter "Winnebagoland Roots".
The society meets the second Thursday of each month at the Oshkosh Public Library, lower level meeting room at 7:00 p.m. (except July when no formal meeting is held). The June and August meetings will be workshops or field trips.
Some of the projects/activities the society is presently working on are: cemetery readings, indexing of vital records, indexing of obituaries, and beginners genealogy classes will be coming soon.
Looking for volunteers to help you with your research, copies of obituaries, land records, vital information? Write to WLGS address above or go to the 'Lookup' link in another part of this website to contact our volunteers. Please allow ample time for our researchers as we recieve many requests.
