Sarah Sparks Bound Born Dec. 4, 1812, in Summit, Schoharie Co., NY., died March 17, 1885, in Plainfield, WI. Buried Plainfield Cemetery. Mystery Photograph Unknown Coggin Daniel COGGIN married Percinda ORDWAY in 1857 and it could be them. Other COGGIN possibilities is a Samuel COGGIN that died in Hancock, WI in 1925 OR his brother Albert COGGIN died in Hancock in 1938. Daniel & Percinda (ORDWAY) COGGIN had the following children:: Ella E. Coggin married a Selah Wetmore Hattie Coggin married a Eugene S. Hamilton Albert Coggin married? Samuel Coggin married? There may have been three more children that died young. Hope I find someone that knows who this is. I am hoping it is my husbands great, great grandparents Daniel & Percinda COGGIN. Loren Fred Kelley, age 18 (photo date abt 1892). Loren was born in Plainfield, WI on 3 Sep 1874 and passed away in Hancock, WI on 1 Jan 1934. Margaret Kelley Garvin, daughter of Loren Fred & Sophia. She was born in Hancock, WI on 28 Aug 1902 and passed away in 1940 at age 28. Her two sons were raised by William and Martha Rasmussen Fitzgerald after her untimely death. Submitted by Linda Cheal |

Daniel Derry Miltimore Daniel was born on November 17, 1811 in New Hampshire, but moved his family to Waushara Co. in 1856, where he bought and farmed 160 acres of land just west of Plainfield. He served as a musician for Company "E" of the 16th Wisconsin Infantry during the Civil War. He and his wife Catherine, who died in 1857 and was buried on the family homestead, had 12 children, 2 of whom didn�t survive childhood. He died in 1876, and is buried near his wife in the family cemetery. Submitted by Shannon Guenther |
Lucy and Florence Edith Miltimore (ca. 1880 Lucy was Daniel & Catherine Miltimore's fourth child, born in Canada in 1839. She was a school teacher in Hancock, WI. She married Brown Hugoboom (of Hancock) in April 1859, and 1860 their daughter Florence Edith was born. Edith spent her childhood on the Miltimore homestead, but as she grew into young adulthood, was schooled in the East. She married Hiram Stockwell, and Lucy eventually moved out East to be with them. Arthur Miltimore (ca.1874) Arthur was the youngest child of Daniel & Catherine Miltimore. He was born in Plainfield, April 12th, 1856. He was just a bit over a year old when his mother died. As the older children in the family moved away, it was Arthur who inherited the family homestead. He is buried in Plainfield Cemetery. Submitted by Shannon Guenther |
Arthur & Harriet (Rathermel) Miltimore Arthur & Harriet were married December 26, 1877, in Waushara Co. This portrait may possible have been taken around that time. Harriet was the daughter of Franklin Rathermel, a prominent citizen of Waushara Co. Arthur & Harriet had nine children, two of whom died in infancy, and another at the age of 2. Virgil Miltimore (ca. 1914) Virgil was the seventh child of Arthur & Harriet Miltimore. He was born in Plainfield, WI, August 6, 1894. He married Ruth Hummel of Plainfield ca. 1915. They had one daughter. Ruth died in the influenza epidemic of 1918. His brother Rob�s wife introduced him to Verna Lewis of Armenia, WI. They married May 18, 1925. Lt. Brown C. Hugoboom Son of Hosea & Sally Hugoboom of Hancock, WI and husband to Lucy Miltmore. Brown served with Company "G" of the 30th Wisconsin Infantry during the Civil War. He died in Louisville, KT from a wound sustained during the battle of Shiloh.. His body was sent back to his wife who, at the time was living at the Miltimore homestead. Hellen was elected to the Assembly in 1924 representing Green Lake & Waushara Counties. She was a Republican. She lived in Coloma. She had previously been a principal in Wild Rose. She was born in Edgerton. She was elected without primary opposition. She was active in the Red Cross and the W.C.T.U. She served only one term. She did not seek reelection. I found 2 photographs in a Seattle thrift store and thought perhaps there were still some Moors children or grandchildren still living there who would like them. Their names are on them as the children of Agnes Bell Collins Moors and Fred P. Moors. I checked the census and found they were from Hancock. The dates for births would be 1900 and 1902. I have identified two of the men, and the others I'm hoping someone can help me identify. The man sitting in the front row on the left is John Bradley Ellis, son of George and Asenath (Wood) Ellis. The boy behind him, standing on the left, is the son of John and Belle (DeVoe) Ellis, Floyd Milton Ellis. The other men in the photo are all brothers of John B. Ellis.
