Three Lakes Genealogical Society 

Minutes Š 26 January 2015 

 

Members Present: Les Anderson, Bob and Nancy Bailey, Roger Blocks, Nancy Brewster, 
Irene Farkas, Barb Hacker, Donna Mather, June S McDuffie, and Debby Selman 

 

President Roger Blocks called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. 

 

Secretary Nancy Bailey presented the minutes from October 27, 2014. The minutes were 
approved as published. There were no minutes from November, 2014 because there was no 
meeting. There were no minutes from December, 2014 because of the TLGS Christmas 
Winter Party. 

 

Treasurer Robert Bailey presented the TreasurerÕs Report. 

 

The report was approved by the members. 

 

Old Business 

There was no old business. 

 

New Business 

 There was a discussion regarding new resources for publicity. 

 An old TLGS brochure was presented. The members decided to update the 

brochure. Roger offered to work on this project. 

The web site is up and running. 

 

The meeting adjourned at 1:20 p.m. 

 

The program was presented by June McDuffie and Roger Blocks. They discussed that our 
members should have a common progenitor within 9 generations of ancestors. 

 

Members are requested to bring twenty of their family surnames to the next meeting. 

 

The next TLGS meeting will be held at 1:00 p.m. on February 23, 2015 in Demmer Memorial 
Library. The program will be a continuation of the surname project.
