We found this picture among possessions of Lena (Belisle)(Labonne) Trombley (1884-1969).
This picture was probably given to Lena before she married Theodore Trombley in 1906,
as it is penciled on the back "Lena Belisle".
The name written on the front in ink, and in another hand, is "Jean LaBonne & family".
Must have been taken about 1900. On the side is "Bannister photography,
New Richmond, Glenwood Wisconsin".
I have never run into the name Jean LaBonne, and feel that he may have another first name.
Has anyone ever found a Jean LaBonne or do you recognize the picture?
Any help, or clues, will be appreciated.

My grandmother wrote on the back of this picture:"Bible Class 192_(small chunk broken out of corner) Emerald, Wisc. Rev. J. Henry Chetterson, Pastor. Berniece Schultz" (on photo)
Submitted by: Cheryl Larson
It is labeled to my aunt, Edna Harer from her teacher, "Ruth Bergstrom, your Teacher". I suspect she may have been a teacher at Roddis Elementary in Emerald, and it was taken before 1916. Willing to donate original to descendants.

Roddis School in Emerald, about 1930. The teacher is probably my mother, Berniece Schultz, and her brother is also in the picture. Would like help with identifying others!

This is a picture of Anna Christiansen (Christianson) who married George Gilbert, who later changed last name to Hennington. She is the mother of Arthur George (AG) Hennington. Anna was a noted dressmaker. AG Hennington owned Hennington Insurance Agency.

This is a picture of the George Hennington family. George changed his last name from Gilbert to Hennington sometime before Arthur was born. George's Norwegian name was Jrgen Gulbrandsen. Pictured left to right: Arthur, George, Helmer and Anna.

This is the Hennington home on Second Street. It was torn down and I think it is a parking lot now. The other home to the left was the William Kottke home which was also torn down. To the right (not shown) was the Hudson Armory which burned down around 1950.
