- According to the 1873 atlas and 1917 atlas for Rock County,
there were seven rural schools in Magnolia
- Township.
- Moore school was also known as Little
Stone Jug school.
- Harvey school was the 5th District Elementary
school. The roster of students for the summer term (May
- 4-August 21, 1896) of the Harvey
school can be seen here.
- Magnolia school was also
known as Magnolia Center
school.
- Only two students were enrolled at the Drew
school for the 1947-48 term.
- I don't know which school was Magnolia
No. 3, but its spring 1896 graduates can be seen here.
- The location and current status of these school buildings
is given below (using the modern road names).
- The numbers given to each school are mine and not district
numbers.
