- According to the 1873 atlas and 1917 atlas for Rock County,
there were eight rural schools in Bradford
- Township. Bradford Township residents also utilized schools
in other townships (Joint District Schools). Some of these included
Summerville in Clinton Township
and Creek Side and Finch in La Prairie Township.
- Fairfield may have had a rural school; it is not listed on
the maps and may have been in Walworth County.
- The location and current status of these school buildings
is given below (using the modern road names).
- In 1921, Wetmore &
MacArthur schools were consolidated
and became Prairie View School.
- I don't where the Paul LUETY property was located
in 1962, but here
is an article regarding the owner's
- wish to be part of the Clinton school system (and not the
Beloit-Turtle unified system). The article also tells of other
Bradford township residents who wish to be attached to the Clinton
school system (as opposed to the Delavan-Darien school system
in Walworth County).
