Retyped for the PGS Website on 13-21 Nov 2009 by Sue HOHNEKE.  Dates were changed or revised to read: dd-mmm-yyyy for uniformity on this PGS Website.

Doug ARNDT has taken digital photos of the stones in the Little Sister Cemetery for his Tombstone Project from 2004-2008 and has shared them with the PGS.  His photos have been linked to this Index.

Please E-mail us at [email protected] if you have any additions or corrections.

The following map was recreated for this PGS Website of the Little Sister Cemetery.  The original 1977 Transcription Index noted the stones found in Section 2  as (2) by the person's name.  The PGS retype will continue with this practice but will also include (1) for those stones in Section 1.   Example: ANDERSON, Donald L. (1)/...   The new stones (not on the 1977 transcription) with pictures linked taken by Doug ARNDT have their sections marked as (?), as we do not know what section they are in.

21-3 Dec 2009 - The 1977 Transcription is now finished being retyped for the PGS Website.

22 Nov 2009 - Obituary for Helen DAHLSTROM -DC Adv. 15 Jul 1921 added to her entry on this index.

MARSHALL, Robbie (1)/Son of W. & A. MARSHALL/Born 16 Mar 1882-Died 10 Sep *1882-*Source for change in death year (was listed as 1885) from previous index: Email from John MARSHALL: "My name is John Marshall and I am the great grandson of William and Agnes Marshall who homsteaded at North Bay in the late 1860's. First of all thanks for your site, it has been very helpful. When I was in junior high we had to to a family tree and one of my uncles gave me the names of William and Agnes's children but that was about it. It was however enough to start doing research and in doing so I came across a name in the Little Sister Cemetery of Robbie Marshall, son of W and A Marshall, born 3/16/1882 and died 9/10/1885. I had never heard this name bebore but it didn't make sense because they had another son born in 1884 named Robert. When you put the newspapers online I started looking and found a reference to Robbie in the 9/14/1882 Door County Advocate on the bottom of page 3 column 4. William reported on the ninth that the day preceeding their son had died. That is the way I read it as far as the day is concerned but the year makes the most sense. He only lived six months. Anyway that is the correction I wanted to send you.During the 50's and 60's we spent a couple of weeks every summer at my uncles cabin at Rowleys Bay and always had a good time. Haven't been back for years but hope to someday. It is a beautiful area. Thanksv John"
