Location: Section 32, Cemetery is in the Villiage of Forestville on Gaede Road. It is located on a slight hill on the west side of the road.

 

The cemetery is the parish cemetery for the St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, and is maintained in good condition by the congregation. The congregation were members of the Rankin Church in Kewaunee County until 1874 when a small number of German Lutherans organized themselves under the above name. These early members were mostly from Mecklenburg, Germany.

TAGGE, former resident of Forestville and Jacksonport, died at her home in Daggett, Mich., Tuesday, July 5th, cause of death being heart failure.  Deceased, whose maiden name was Miss Bertha KRUEGER, was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. KRUEGER of the town of Forestville, in which town she was born in September 1863.  She was united in marriage to C. J. TAGGE 34 years ago and for several years resided in the town of Forestville and Jacksonport, moving to Daggett about seven years ago.  Mrs. TAGGE is survived by her husband, five daughters, Mrs. T. E. TWEEDALE, Mrs. Jos. KOHL, Mrs. R. J. MOHN and Alvina TAGGE of Kenosha, and Mabel of Daggett;  and four sond: Herman and Ernest of Sturgeon Bay, Arthur and Emil of Daggett.  The remains were brought to Forestville for burial, funeral being held Friday morning from the German Lutheran church.  all the children with the exception of Mrs. KOHL were present."
