"TRACE YOUR PIONEER ANCESTORS" -the 2010 PGS Workshop-was held on Thurs.: 28 Jan 2010-Door County Library, at 6:30 p.m. till closing - in coordination with the Door County Library's BIG READ DOOR COUNTY-Willa CATHER's "My Ántonia".

Alan KOPISCHKE from the Peninsula Players gave an introduction to the Big Read "My Ántonia" by Willa CATHER followed by Door County Librarian Laura KAYACAN who told what is available in the Library and Laurie History Room for family history researchers.  Following Laura, Sue HOHNEKE gave a Power-Point: "How to Trace Your Pioneer Ancestors", after which those in attendance had the opportunity to view the displays and discuss family history research strategies with the PGS Members.  Our thanks to PGS Members Mary and Lee GROTA for these pictures.
