RESEARCHING IRELAND 
Door County WI has many early IRISH Settlers throughout the county. Washington Island had an early IRISH Settlement.
We hope that this page will help you in researching your IRISH ROOTS! FInding that place in the "old country" is the most important part. We have found quite a few tombstones in Door Co. Cemeteries (particularly in Town of Sevastopol-St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery when the PGS did the 2008 transcription) that tell the place in Ireland where the folk's were born! The following picture is an example from that cemetery that gives the county in Ireland. Some even gave the town! You never know where you are going to find that location!
