Ozaukee County Books

The following books are available at local libraries. Many of them are reference books and cannot be checked out or sent through interlibrary loan. But if you are planning a trip to the area, you might want to visit one of our libraries to see if they might aid in your research. Please visit the Ozaukee County Resource page for the address (and website link) to check on hours and location.

The Wisconsin State Historical Society, local genealogical/historical societies and the Milwaukee Public Library are also wonderful sources for local histories, family histories, cemetery transcriptions, census records, newspaper records, etc. I've tried to list their addresses, phone numbers, and website links on the Ozaukee County Resource page mentioned above.

These are just the books relating to Ozaukee County - there are other material on histories, historic buildings/sites, walking tours, biographies, etc. in each of the librarys' vertical files - just look in their computer catalog when you visit or ask one of the librarians to help you.
