Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 8:20 pm by President Terry Micks.
Officer Reports
The minutes of the Oct. 25, 2011 meeting were read by Joyce Krueger, corrected and approved by those in attendance.
The Treasurer�s Report was read by Al Nelson. The beginning balance on hand as of Oct. 25, 2011 was $2,007.45 with receipts of $88.25 and disbursements of $517.90, leaving a balance on hand as of Nov. 22, 2011 of $1,577.80. Report was approved.
Correspondence
LAGS received a notice from the IRS, and the forms to get the tax-exempt status resumed have been sent in.
Committee Reports
Archives
Since the budget cut has been approved, Anita reported that the Archives staff will be starting from scratch with decisions about what will happen (and not happen) in the Archives in 2012. They will be looking for people to volunteer some hours to help at the Archives.
The LAGS February and March meetings for sure will begin at 6:00 p.m., as the library will be closing an hour earlier.

Website - Roxanne reports there has not been a lot of activity on the website.
Unfinished Business
We will be putting on a Beginners Workshop on a Saturday in June. It will be for anyone who is interested. Be thinking about how you could help with this project.
There were questions for Anita on the subject of what we can do to help the Archives. There are space issues for volunteers, and Anita will have more info as 2012 begins.
New Business
A nominations committee was formed, consisting of Bessie & Dennis. Elections for President and Secretary will be held at our next meeting, which will be February 28, 2012. There were no volunteers for refreshments in February.
Program
Our program this month was on websites that are helpful for genealogists. Terry started us off, and several people shared other website information.
Adjournment
The business portion of the meeting was adjourned at 8:40 pm. Thank you to all those who brought Ethnic Treats to share.
