Call to Order

The business meeting was called to order at 8:16 pm on 24 November 2009, by President Terry Micks after the program.

Officer Reports

Secretary Joyce Krueger read the minutes of the 27 Oct 2009 meeting. A motion was made and seconded to accept the Secretary�s report. The motion was approved.

Treasurer Allen Nelson read the Treasurer�s Report. The beginning balance on hand as of 27 Oct 2009 was $1,573.89 with receipts of $97.75 and disbursements of $171.86, leaving a balance on hand as of 24 Nov 2009 of $1,499.78. The Treasurer�s Report was approved.

Quarterly

• The November quarterly is half done, and should be out in December. Thanks to all for contributions and help with the quarterly. Please continue to submit interesting articles.

Programs

• The Feb. 2010 program is scheduled to be Archivist Sister Mary Ann Gschwind speaking on resources at FSPA.

• Roxanne will be updating shortly.

Unfinished Business

• Dues of $20 are due for 2010. Terry will be emailing those who are overdue.
• There is a speaker now set for the next Gene-O-Rama. Jane will update us at the Feb. meeting.
• The next Irish Fest will have Civil War Re-enactors.

New Business

• Since we use LaCrosse Mail to send out the quarterly, there is no need for us to have our own postage permit at a cost of $180 yearly and we will drop our permit in 2010.
• The February 2010 meeting will be election of the officers of President and Secretary. Volunteers for the Nominations Committee are Connie and Jane.
• Treats for February will be provided by Susan. Karen & Jane will provide them for March, and Connie & Joyce will do it for April.

Program

Our program was a round table discussion on �Hitting Your Head Against A Brick Wall� and there was good sound advice for the questions that were brought up.

Adjournment

The business portion of the meeting adjourned at 8:35 pm. There were lots of Ethnic Treats which were shared throughout the program. Thanks to all those that brought them!
