Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:51 pm by President Terry Micks.
Officer Reports
The minutes of the Feb. 28, 2011 meeting were read by Joyce Krueger and approved by those in attendance.
The Treasurer�s Report was read. The beginning balance on hand as of Feb. 28, 2012 was $1,537.51 with receipts of $65.00 and disbursements of $00.00, leaving a balance on hand as of March 27, 2012 of $1,602.51. Report was approved.
Correspondence
Sat., May 19, 2012 is the Family History Conference in Wausau.
April 27 & 28 is the WSGS Gene-A-Rama in Green Bay.

Terry is catching up with the quarterlies. The February Quarterly should be out very soon.

Unfinished Business
Dues are due - $20.
Terry supplied summary sheets about the LAGS Beginner�s Workshop. It will be Saturday, June 23rd at the La Crosse Public Library Auditorium from 12:30 - 4:30 p.m. This event is free admission, and will consist of several topics. Each topic will be 15-20 minutes and will be included (in more detail) in the Beginner�s Booklet which will cost $5.00. There will also be door prizes, including Family Tree Maker 2012.
New Business
There was discussion about a new PBS TV series called �Finding Your Roots� that�s on Sunday nights at 7:00 p.m. There were many good comments about it. Cindy volunteered to bring treats for the April 24 meeting.Program
Megan Isely, of the library archives staff, gave a very informative program on doing research on the 1940 census which will be released on April 2nd. Thank you, Megan.Adjournment
