Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 8:18 pm on 3/23/10, by Vice President Anita Doering.

Officer Reports

Secretary Joyce Krueger read the minutes of the 2/23/10 meeting. A motion was made to accept the Secretary�s report as read. The motion was approved.

Treasurer Allen Nelson read the Treasurer�s Report. The beginning balance on hand as of 2/23/10 was $1,711.78 with receipts of $244.34 and disbursements of $242.64, leaving a balance on hand as of 3/23/10 of $1,713.48.

Committee Reports

Archives

• Anita reports that all three magazines subscriptions that LAGS paid for have started and are located on the main floor.
• The Ancestry magazine is being discontinued.

Quarterly

• The February 2010 Quarterly has been sent out.

Programs

• April and May meetings have not been finalized yet.
• June will be cemetery work, hopefully involving two different times:
       1) A Saturday a.m. for Civil War area clean-up, with Civil War re-enactors.
       2) A weekday or weeknight for those who cannot come on a weekend.

• Dues are due.
• Beginners Booklet - nothing yet

New Business

• A motion was made and passed that Anita spend up to $75 for more cemetery cleaning supplies to have on hand when people volunteer for cemetery clean-up.
• WSGS Gene-A-Rama 2010 is in Manitowoc on April 17 and 18, 2010.
• Irish Fest will be August 13-15, and will feature Civil War Re-enactors. Also Marc Storch, Civil War buff, will speak in the cultural tent on Saturday. There will also be internet terminals and volunteers to help you with genealogy. The webpage is updated - check it out!
