New Business

Mary Ellen volunteered to bring treats for the May 22 meeting.

Program

There was a Roundtable Discussion with lots of participation. Suggestions were made for those brick wall situations that were brought up, and some also shared their break-throughs which encouraged everyone to think positive and keep trying to get around that brick wall. Dont forget to look at probate records, church records, and check out those letters and postcards for dates and other information. Family Search is regularly adding information, so keep checking there.

Terry updated us on the progress of indexing the 1940 census, and encouraged us all to help with that volunteer effort. Some of the less populated states are getting close to complete already. There is also an indexing competition for societies.

Adjournment

The business portion of the meeting was adjourned at 7:47 pm. Thank you to Cindy for providing treats.

Respectfully submitted,

Joyce Krueger
